Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports (VASS) is a registered non-profit society operated by a dedicated group of volunteers that provides skiing and snowboarding programs for persons with a disability at Grouse, Seymour and Cypress Mountains. VASS makes the mountain experience accessible to ALL.
VASS is supported by Grouse, Seymour & Cypress Mountains and funded through community partnerships with local businesses, clubs/foundations, private donations and fundraising initiatives.
One of these initiatives is the VASS Cup. On March 3rd, 2016, VASS holds their premier fundraising event on Grouse Mountain!
For a donation of $25 you can join in the festivities: take part in a fun ski race alongside skiers with disabilities, try out sledge hockey, join us for appetizers and an inspirational film, pick up a unique item at the silent auction or simply enjoy the spectacular views from the top of Grouse mountain. You can also take a closer look at some of the amazing equipment and technology that VASS uses to make skiing and snowboarding possible for persons with a disability.
Get Involved! Register for the 2016 VASS Cup here
Without support for the VASS Cup, many individuals with a disabilities would never get to experience the magic of the mountains. Your generous support makes VASS MAGIC happen!
