The 25th Annual Harmony Arts Festival, a free, 10-day celebration of visual, performing and culinary arts on West Vancouver’s waterfront, kicks-off this Friday, July 31st and runs until Sunday, August 9th.

Here’s a few highlights:

Each night of the festival at sunset, thousands of music lovers will gather at John Lawson Park to enjoy the amazing line-up of local bands. B.C.’s Me and Mae kicks-off the Onni Group Sunset Concert Series this Friday, July 31st at 7:45pm. Check out the full schedule here.

During the festival, you’ll also find live music all day and night at Millennium Park, and we highly recommend checking out Side One Band on August 6th! You can find the complete line-up for Millennium Park here.

The festival’s Cinema in the Park series will screen nine movies in John Lawson Park, starting with Momma Mia! on July 31st at 9:00pm. Click here to see what movies are playing during the festival. Seating will be limited so bring a blanket or lawn chair to set-up on the grass.

To celebrate the festival’s 25 year anniversary, visit 25 Years, 25 Artists, a special curated exhibition that features the works of 25 local artists participating in a collaborative project to commemorate the legacy of excellence in the arts and deep community connections the festival has nurtured.

Also plan a visit to the Art Market on Argyle Avenue on both weekends of the festival (July 31 to August 3 and August 7 to August 9) to shop ’til you drop!

If you missed out on tickets to the sold-out Best of the West culinary event, head to Park Royal’s Beachside Patio on Argyle Avenue for amazing food by The Dirty Apron and local beer and wine offerings. You’ll also find food trucks at all of the festival venues.
