An unusual dining experience is coming to North Vancouver this July. Dinner in the Sky, which originally started in Belgium, has become a world event reaching 40 countries in which guests are suspended 150 feet in the air while enjoying their meal. YIKES! This will be the event’s first time in Vancouver and the exclusive dining experience will take place between July 1st and July 31st, 2017.

The event will be taking place at The Creek Marina (beside waterfront park), which is kind of perfect considering we have the best views of the city on the North Shore. Just sayin’.

Those of you who have a fear of heights might want to skip the gallery portion of this article, and those of you who think $50 at Finch & Barley is pricey might want to skip this too. The adventurous experience has a price tag of $296.31 for brunch, $296.36 for lunch, and $399 for dinner. The question is, what is the thrill of sky high dining worth to you? At least there is Dinner on the Pier happening August 10th to satisfy those who prefer to eat their wild salmon with their feet firmly on the ground (and for half the cost).

From June 4 to July 1, Brussels is offering a sky high culinary experience with Dinner in the Sky, a unique opportunity to discover Belgian gastronomy in an unusual way.

Needless to say, it will be fun to watch. Are you gonna do it?

Tickets for Dinner in the Sky are available now.
